How much can you earn delegating your TRON resources?
Freeze TRX for Energy or Bandwidth and estimate your total yield: Super Representative voting rewards plus delegation/rental income from the resources generated, at current market rates.
How TRON delegation earnings actually work
When you freeze TRX on the TRON network, you get two separate income streams at the same time. First, freezing grants you TRON Power, which you use to vote for a Super Representative — voters receive a share of that SR's block rewards, paid out at an annualized rate. Second, freezing generates either Energy or Bandwidth, which you can delegate or rent out to other users on the market, earning extra TRX on top of the voting reward.
This calculator adds both together: the voting reward (using the highest rate currently paid among the 27 elected Super Representatives) plus the delegation/rental income (using the real 30-day volume-weighted average market price for Energy and Bandwidth rentals across active providers). The result is a realistic estimate of the total passive yield on your frozen TRX.
How is the earning estimate calculated?
By combining the Super Representative voting reward on your frozen TRX with the delegation/rental income from the Energy or Bandwidth that freeze generates, valued at the current 30-day average market price.
What's the difference between staking reward and delegation income?
The staking (voting) reward comes from voting for a Super Representative and applies to any frozen TRX, regardless of resource. Delegation income comes separately from renting out the Energy or Bandwidth generated. Both stack together.
How is the maximum SR voting rate determined?
We fetch the live list of the 27 elected Super Representatives and take the highest voter-facing annualized rate among them (net of each SR's brokerage cut).
Is the delegation income automatic?
No — it's a market-based estimate. To actually earn it you need to put your Energy or Bandwidth up for rent, e.g. via a rental platform or a peer-to-peer marketplace.
How often is the average rental price updated?
It's computed from real sell offers across active providers over the last 30 days, volume-weighted by quantity actually sold, and refreshed continuously.
